Alabama's Public Liberal Arts University

Student Health Services

General Information

The Student Health Center provides direct, basic medical care to students and serves as a referral source for students needing care beyond that available on campus.  The majority of services provided are covered by a mandatory undergraduate health fee. Expenses incurred for care beyond that provided by the university are the responsibility of the student. Graduate students may elect to pay the health fee to access services provided.

All incoming students are required to submit a Student Medical History Form, proof of measles immunity and tuberculosis risk questionnaire.  Even though the Varicella (Chicken Pox), Tetanus, Hepatitis B and Meningitis Vaccines are not required they are strongly recommended.
